Does the Bible teach that men are spiritually blind and dead in their sins, or merely sick and in need of assistance? Does the Bible teach that God loves us and brings us to himself because of what we do or because of who he is and what he alone has done for us? Did Jesus Christ personally and perfectly accomplish God‘s will on our behalf on the cross, or did he die generally for all men, not to personally save anyone, but to make all men savable? Does God accomplish all his holy will in the world or merely some of it? Does man have any grounds for boasting in himself, or does all glory belong to God alone? Does God’s grace in salvation necessarily have an effect in a believer’s life, or can we be saved and unchanged?

The Bible is our sole source of authority, and it speaks with unmistakable clarity on these matters. The doctrines of grace summarize for us what the whole Bible says (with one unified voice) on matters pertaining to God, sin, and salvation.

Soli Deo gloria! All glory to God alone!
