What to expect
HAVEN exists to glorify God by worshipping him according to his Word. When you visit, you can expect to see a devotion to God’s Word, to fellowship, to the breaking of bread, and to prayer (Acts 2:42).
A typical worship service begins at 10am and goes past noon with a time of fellowship and refreshments in between the first and second half of the service.
In the first half of our service, we have a brief lesson after which we break bread together (weekly) with a brief time of sharing from the men of the congregation. After this we have a short time of fellowship and refreshments.
The second half of our service is centered around the preaching of God’s Word with prayer and singing before and after.
For worship in song, we use the Hymns of Grace hymnal. As a church we do not support Bethel, Hillsong, or Elevation Music in any way.
There is no formal dress code, but we do ask attendees to dress modestly and in a way that does not distract.
We are sinners saved by God’s undeserved grace and we want that to be reflected in our worship. In all things, we desire to bring glory and honor to our God and King by showing forth the love of Christ in and through our lives.
